I Misfits sono una band hardcore punk statunitense formatasi a Lodi, New Jersey nel 1977 da Glenn Danzig. Conosciuti per l'utilizzo di temi horror e un look gotico dark, hanno contribuito alla nascita del sottogenere horror-punk. Dopo diverse modifiche nella formazione e sperimentazioni stilistiche, hanno pubblicato il loro album d'esordio *Walk Among Us* nel 1982. L'album, sebbene non abbia riscosso successo commerciale, è diventato un classico punk underground e un punto di riferimento per la scena musicale alternativa. I Misfits sono noti anche per i loro concerti caotici ed eccitanti.
