Madcon est un duo de hip hop norvégien composé de Tshawe Baqwa (Kapricon) et Yosef Wolde-Mariam (Critical). Kapricon est né en Allemagne de parents sud-africains mais a grandi à Tveita, près d'Oslo. Critical, en revanche, est norvégien de naissance mais d'origine éthiopienne et érythréenne. Le duo s'est formé en 2000 et a atteint la renommée internationale avec le single "Beggin'", sorti en 2010, qui a dominé les classements européens. Madcon est connu pour un son qui fusionne des éléments de hip hop, R and B et pop, caractérisé par des mélodies accrocheuses et des paroles en anglais et norvégien. Parmi leurs albums les plus importants figurent "The Golden Age" (2010) et "Conquistadors" (2013). Madcon a collaboré avec des artistes tels que Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown et David Guetta.
