Skindred est un groupe britannique de heavy metal formé en 1998 à Newport, au Pays de Galles, sous la direction du chanteur Benji Webbe. Leur son mélange des éléments de reggae, punk et nu metal, créant une expérience musicale énergique et immersive. Skindred a gagné en popularité grâce à sa musique puissante et ses performances live intenses, devenant une présence constante dans le paysage du métal européen. Parmi leurs chansons les plus connues figurent "Pressure", "Nobody" et "Rat Race". L'album "Roots Rock Rebel" de 2014 marque un tournant dans leur carrière, consolidant leur succès international. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
