Avantasia est un projet musical de power metal et symphonic metal créé par Tobias Sammet, chanteur et leader du groupe de power metal Edguy. Le nom du projet, un portmanteau des mots 'avalon' et 'fantasia', décrit «un monde au-delà de l'imagination humaine» (citation du livret). Avantasia se compose d'un single éponyme, deux albums studio intitulés *The Metal Opera*, deux EP appelés *Lost in Space* et la récente trilogie *Scarecrow*. Sammet a impliqué de nombreux invités dans le projet, notamment Oliver Hartmann, Michael Kiske, Kai Hansen et Jorn Lande. Avantasia est considéré comme l'un des projets les plus importants du genre symphonic metal, apprécié pour ses mélodies épiques, ses paroles fantastiques et sa production de haute qualité. Parmi les morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent *The Great Mystery*, *Dying For An Angel* et *Starlight*.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
