Mighty mighty meeka rising in a Pilbara sky
The sun has set, and red cliffs surrender their colour unto the night
Sitting by this fire tonight, you old friend I have missed
Take me far away from the noise
And the fray boys
It gets no better than this
Crossing over song lines made by giants in the sky
Red old rusty road rolling on underneath my weary tyres
And when I make my camp tonight
I'm gonna put my feet up in bliss
Looking up at the stars
And trying to find Mars
It gets no better than this
It gets no better
It gets no better than this
Crossing over the Fitzroy running through those ancient lands
From where she meets the ocean to where ole Pigeon took his last stand
And old money is for certain and the children take the piss
Money comes and goes
But the river must flow
It gets no better than this
It's gets no better
It gets no better than this
Take me far away from the noise and the fray
It gets no better than this
I'm at Coppins gap and I ain't comin back
It gets no better than this
I'm on the Nullagine with an old hand line
It gets no better than this
You can't boil it all down to a hole in the ground
It gets no better than this
Money comes and goes
But the river must flow
Money comes and goes
But the river must flow
Money comes and goes
But the river must flow
Money comes and goes
But the river must flow
It's gets no better
It gets no better than this
It's gets no better
It gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
It's gets no better than this
Matuwarra, matuwarra
