Suicidal Tendencies est un groupe américain de heavy metal formé à Venice, Californie, en 1982. Le seul membre constant du groupe est le chanteur et principal auteur des paroles Mike Muir. Leur musique, caractérisée par un rythme effréné et des influences punk, thrash metal et hardcore, a contribué à définir le style crossover thrash. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Institutionalized", "Possessed to Skate" et "Cyco Miko". L'album de début éponyme de 1983 est considéré comme un classique du genre. Suicidal Tendencies a collaboré avec des artistes tels que Slayer, Anthrax et Fear Factory, influençant des générations de musiciens de heavy metal.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
