Ice Cube, de son vrai nom O'Shea Jackson Sr., est un rappeur, acteur et producteur de disques américain né à Los Angeles en 1969. Il a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1980 en tant que membre du groupe N.W.A., connu pour son rap brut et politiquement engagé qui reflétait les réalités sociales difficiles des communautés afro-américaines de Los Angeles. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
