Spock's Beard est un groupe de rock progressif formé à Los Angeles en 1992 par les frères Neal et Alan Morse. Neal, claviériste et chanteur principal, était également le principal compositeur avant de quitter le groupe en 2002 pour se consacrer à une carrière solo. Alan joue de la guitare électrique. Le duo s'est associé à d'autres musiciens comme Nick D'Virgilio (batterie) et Dave Meros (basse), lançant leur premier album, *The Light*, en 1995. Le quatuor a ensuite été rejoint par le vétéran claviériste Ryo Okumoto. Le groupe a gagné en popularité pour ses albums complexes et mélodiques, souvent inspirés par des thèmes de science-fiction et de philosophie. Parmi leurs œuvres les plus notables figurent *V*, *Beware of the Dog* et *The Kindness of Strangers*.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
