Malcolm James McCormick, connu professionnellement sous le nom de Mac Miller, était un rappeur, chanteur et producteur de disques américain né à Pittsburgh, en Pennsylvanie, en 1992. Sa musique, caractérisée par une fusion de hip-hop, de jazz et de soul, a conquis un public international grâce à son honnêteté introspective et à son talent pour l'écriture de textes poétiques. Miller a fait ses débuts en 2010 avec l'album "Blue Slide Park", qui a atteint la première place du classement Billboard 200. Au cours de sa carrière, il a sorti six albums studio, dont "Watching Movies with the Sound Off" (2013) et "GO:OD AM" (2014), tous deux salués par la critique. Outre la musique, Miller était connu pour sa personnalité authentique et son engagement social. En 2018, il est décédé tragiquement à l'âge de 26 ans suite à une overdose.
