Van Canto est un groupe musical allemand de heavy metal a cappella formé en 2004. Composé de six chanteurs (dont une femme) et d'un batteur, le groupe se distingue par son interprétation originale du genre heavy metal sans utiliser d'instruments musicaux traditionnels. Les voix de Van Canto reproduisent tous les éléments musicaux, des guitares aux basses, en passant par les batteries et les synthétiseurs, créant un son puissant et riche. Leur premier album, *A Storm to Come*, est sorti en 2006 et a marqué le début d'une carrière internationale. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent *The Final Stand*, *Ironheart* et *The Power of the Voice*. Van Canto est considéré comme l'un des groupes a cappella les plus innovants et talentueux au monde, avec une base de fans à travers le globe.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
