La Roux est un duo musical britannique formé à Londres en 2008 par Elly Jackson (chant) et Ben Langmaid (production, claviers). Leur son s'inspire du synthpop des années 80, avec des influences d'artistes comme Yazoo, The Human League, Heaven 17 et Blancmange. Le nom du groupe vient des cheveux rouges d'Elly Jackson. La Roux a connu un succès international en 2009 avec le single "In for the Kill", qui a dominé les classements britanniques et européens. Leur album de début éponyme, sorti la même année, a été très bien accueilli par la critique et a vendu des millions d'exemplaires dans le monde entier. Parmi les morceaux les plus connus du groupe figurent également "Bulletproof" et "Quicksand". La Roux s'est séparée en 2014 pour revenir à collaborer en 2018 avec la sortie de l'album "Supervision".
