Edgewater è stata una band post-grunge di cinque elementi proveniente dall'area di Dallas, Texas. Formatasi nel 1997, il gruppo ha sfidato le classificazioni generiche, definendo la propria musica come un mix di potenza e melodia. Il batterista Jeremy Rees descriveva il loro sound come «un qualcosa con quel tocco di grinta, croccante e denso nei momenti più intensi, ma con melodie che scorrono come l'acqua». Nonostante non abbiano raggiunto una fama mainstream, Edgewater ha lasciato un segno nel panorama musicale indipendente degli anni '90. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano «The Way I Feel», «Falling Away» e «Save Me».
