Darius C. Rucker è un cantautore e musicista statunitense, noto per la sua carriera sia come frontman del gruppo musicale Hootie and the Blowfish che come artista solista. Nato a Charleston, in Carolina del Sud, nel 1972, Rucker ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 con Hootie and the Blowfish, raggiungendo il successo internazionale con album come "Cracked Rear View" (1994) e singoli come "Let Her Cry" e "Hold My Hand". Dopo una pausa dal gruppo nel 2008, Rucker ha intrapreso una carriera solista di grande successo, pubblicando album country come "Learn to Live" (2009), "Charleston Girl" (2013) e "Southern Style" (2014).
