Carlos Jean è un cantante e produttore discografico spagnolo nato a Barcellona nel 1968. Attivo dal 1992, si è affermato come uno dei principali esponenti della musica soul spagnola, mescolando influenze funk, pop e elettroniche. Il suo stile musicale è caratterizzato da ritmi incalzanti, melodie orecchiabili e testi in inglese e spagnolo che trattano temi di amore, libertà e speranza. Tra i suoi album più noti figurano *Back to the Earth* (1996), *Mr Dabada* (2000) e *Face to Face* (2003). Jean ha collaborato con numerosi artisti internazionali, tra cui Kylie Minogue e Gloria Estefan. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
