Gli Old Crow Medicine Show sono un gruppo musicale bluegrass americano formatosi in Virginia nel 1998, trasferitosi poi a Nashville, Tennessee. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da una fusione di tradizioni bluegrass, folk e country, con influenze anche del rockabilly e della musica popolare americana. Considerati uno dei gruppi più importanti del revival bluegrass contemporaneo, hanno ottenuto un grande successo grazie alla loro energia live e al talento musicale dei componenti. Tra i brani più famosi figurano "Wagon Wheel", "Brushy Mountain Blues" e "Alabama High Test". Il gruppo ha pubblicato numerosi album, tra cui "Big Iron World" (2004) e "Tennessee Pusher" (2013), ottenendo riconoscimenti come il Grammy Award per la migliore performance bluegrass nel 2014. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
