Brandtson è un gruppo indie rock formatosi a Cleveland, Ohio nel 1996. Inizialmente era un progetto parallelo di Myk Porter, cantante del gruppo hardcore cristiano Six Feet Deep. Porter coinvolse il suo amico Jared Jolley alla batteria. Dopo lo scioglimento di Six Feet Deep, Brandtson divenne una band a tempo pieno con l'aggiunta di Matt Traxler (anch'egli dei Six Feet Deep) alla chitarra e John Sayre al basso. Il loro primo album, *Letterbox*, uscì su Steadfast Records, l'etichetta indipendente di Traxler, e fu poi ripubblicato da Deep Elm Records. Il gruppo pubblicò il singolo *Let's Call It A Day* su Velvet Blue Music e partecipò alla compilation *Volume Two of the Emo Diaries*. Nel 1999 Deep Elm pubblicò *Fallen Star Collection*, seguito nel 2000 dall'EP *Trying to Figure Each Other Out*. Seguirono altri album e un passaggio a The Militia Group per la pubblicazione del disco *Send Us a Signal* nel 2004. Brandtson ha intrapreso tour in Nord America, Europa, Giappone, Singapore e Hong Kong. Nel 2005 Sayre lasciò il gruppo e fu sostituito da Adam Boose di Furnace St., che aggiunse anche elementi elettronici al suono della band. Il loro ultimo album, *Hello, Control*, uscì a maggio 2006. Nel 2007 Myk ha condiviso nuove musiche dal suo progetto solista *May This House Be Safe From Tigers* su MySpace. Si vocifera che Brandtson si sia sciolto a causa della mancanza di interazione con i fan e del ritardo significativo dell'album in uscita.

Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.
Nous continuons donc à voir un balancement entre les festivals d'été et non, nous devons les annuler car nous ne pouvons pas garantir la sécurité.
Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
