Avenged Sevenfold è una band heavy metal americana formatasi nel 1999 a Huntington Beach, in California. Il gruppo, composto da M. Shadows (voce), Synyster Gates (chitarra), Zacky Vengeance (chitarra ritmica) e Johnny Christ (basso), ha raggiunto un'enorme popolarità negli anni 2000 grazie al suo sound aggressivo e melodico, influenzato dal thrash metal, dal heavy metal classico e dal punk rock. Tra i loro album più importanti figurano "City of Evil" (2005), che ha consacrato la band come uno dei pilastri del nu metal contemporaneo, e "Nightmare" (2010), un tributo al batterista Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, scomparso nel 2009. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Bat Country", "Beast and the Harlot", "Afterlife" e "Hail to the King".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
