Beneath The Massacre est un groupe canadien de death metal technique originaire de Montréal, Québec. Fondé en 2005, il a sorti son album de début, *Evidence of Inequity*, sous le label Galy Records. En 2006, ils ont signé avec Prosthetic Records et ont sorti leur premier album complet, *Mechanics of Dysfunction*, le 20 février 2007. Le groupe a beaucoup tourné, participant à des événements notables comme le Brutalitour 2007 aux côtés d'Animosity, As Blood Runs Black et The Faceless, ainsi que le Summer Slaughter Tour avec Decapitated, Necrophagist, As Blood Runs Black, The Faceless, Ion Dissonance et Cephalic Carnage. Ils ont également participé à la tournée Radio Rebellion 2007 avec Job for a Cowboy, Behemoth et Gojira. Beneath The Massacre est connu pour incorporer occasionnellement des influences du hardcore punk.
