Inner Circle è un gruppo reggae giamaicano formatosi nel 1968 dai fratelli Ian e Roger Lewis. Con Jacob Miller come frontman e cantante principale, la band è stata una delle più popolari in Giamaica durante gli anni '70, ed uno dei pochi gruppi reggae a esibirsi dal vivo. Sono noti per il loro brano del 1987 "Bad Boys", diventato colonna sonora della longeva serie televisiva americana COPS. All'inizio, la band coprì successi soul e R and B provenienti dagli Stati Uniti, oltre a qualche brano reggae, principalmente di Bob Marley. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Bad Boys", "Sweat (A Little Bit of Monica)", "The Yard" e "Police and Thieves". L'album "Black to the Future" del 1987 ha segnato un punto di svolta per la band, portandoli a una maggiore popolarità internazionale.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
