Lifehouse è una rock band statunitense formatasi a Los Angeles, California, negli anni '90. Il gruppo è composto da Jason Wade (voce, chitarra), Bryce Soderberg (chitarra), Rick Woolstenhulme (basso) e Ben Carey (batteria). La loro musica è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un sound rock alternativo con influenze pop. ??Il successo internazionale arriva nel 2001 con il singolo "Hanging by a Moment", estratto dall'album di debutto "No Name Face". Il brano conquista le classifiche americane e internazionali, vincendo anche il Billboard Music Award per i migliori 100 singoli dell'anno.
