Lissie est une chanteuse-auteure-compositrice et musicienne américaine, connue pour sa voix puissante et sa musique folk-rock influencée par le blues. Née Elizabeth Maurus dans l'Illinois en 1983, elle a commencé à jouer de la guitare à l'âge de sept ans. Après avoir passé un certain temps à Nashville, elle s'est installée à Chicago où elle a formé le groupe The Plimsouls. En 2010, elle a sorti son premier album "Catching a Tiger", qui a reçu des critiques élogieuses et l'a propulsée sur la scène internationale.
