Lou Reed (Lewis Allan Reed; 2 mars 1942 – 27 octobre 2013) était un auteur-compositeur-interprète, guitariste et poète américain. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du rock expérimental et de la musique punk, Reed a atteint la renommée internationale en tant que leader du Velvet Underground dans les années 1960. Après la dissolution du groupe, il a lancé une carrière solo très réussie, explorant des thèmes controversés tels que l'héroïne, la sexualité et la marginalisation sociale.
