Captain and Tennille sono un duo musicale formato da marito e moglie, Daryl Dragon (conosciuto come Captain) e Toni Tennille, che hanno raggiunto il successo negli anni '70 e '80 con hit come "Love Will Keep Us Together", "The Way That I Want To Touch You", "Shop Around" e "Muskrat Love". Si sono incontrati a San Francisco nel 1971: Toni cercava un tastierista per il musical che aveva co-scritto, Mother Earth. Daryl Dragon, ex tastierista dei Beach Boys, fu raccomandato a lei e dopo un'audizione, è stato ingaggiato. Dopo la fine dello spettacolo, ha contattato Toni chiedendole di unirsi al tour dei Beach Boys come pianista. Toni ha accettato e ha trascorso un anno in tour con loro. Al termine del tour, sono tornati in California e hanno iniziato a lavorare come duo in piccoli club. La loro relazione professionale si è evoluta in una relazione personale e hanno guadagnato una folla fedele al club The Smokehouse di Encino. Toni aveva scritto una canzone per Daryl durante il tour con i Beach Boys, "The Way I Want To Touch You", che descriveva i suoi sentimenti crescenti per lui. Hanno investito i propri soldi per registrare la canzone e l'hanno inviata alle stazioni radio locali, ottenendo un sorprendente successo. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
