Sir Elton Hercules John, nato Reginald Kenneth Dwight il 25 marzo 1947 a Pinner, Middlesex, Inghilterra, è uno dei musicisti più influenti e riconoscibili al mondo. Iniziò a studiare pianoforte all'età di sei anni e si formò alla Royal Academy of Music. Nel 1962 cambiò nome in Elton John e iniziò la sua carriera musicale come tastierista per diversi artisti, tra cui Bluesology. Nel 1967 incontrò il lyricist Bernie Taupin, con cui ha collaborato costantemente fino ad oggi. Il loro primo album insieme, *Empty Sky*, uscì nel 1969. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
