Monster Magnet sono una band statunitense di stoner rock/metal formatasi nel New Jersey nel 1989. Fondata da Dave Wyndorf (voce, chitarra), il gruppo ha attraversato diverse formazioni nel corso degli anni, con John McBain (chitarra) e Tim Cronin (basso) tra i membri più longevi. Dopo un periodo iniziale come "Dog of Mystery" e "Airport 75", la band si è affermata con l'omonimo album d'esordio del 1991, seguito da successi come "Spine of God" (1995) e "Powertrip" (1998). Il loro sound, caratterizzato da riff pesanti, melodie psichedeliche e testi evocativi, ha influenzato generazioni di band stoner rock.
