David Brent Nail (né le 18 mai 1979 à Kennett, Missouri) est un musicien américain de musique country. En 2002, il a fait ses débuts avec le single "Memphis", qui s'est classé numéro 52 des classements country de Billboard et a servi de premier single à son album d' estreia auto-intitulé jamais publié. En 2007, il a signé chez MCA Nashville (qui, comme Mercury, appartient au groupe Universal Music Group Nashville) et a sorti son deuxième single dans les classements, une reprise de "I'm About to Come Alive" des Train. Il a été suivi en 2009 par "Red Light", son premier succès country Top 10. Les deux chansons figurent sur son album d' estreia "I'm About to Come Alive", sorti le 18 août 2009. Nail était membre de la fraternité Pi Kappa Alpha, chapitre Delta Theta à l'Université d'État de l'Arkansas.
