Wizard è un gruppo musicale tedesco di power metal attivo dal 1984. Considerati uno dei pionieri del genere, hanno contribuito a definire il sound epico e melodico che caratterizza il power metal europeo. Il loro stile musicale è influenzato da band come Iron Maiden, Judas Priest e Helloween. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Wizard", "Eternal Flame" e "King of the Night". L'album di debutto "Wizard" (1985) ha segnato l'inizio della loro carriera, seguita da altri lavori come "Land of the Free" (1987) e "Into the Fire" (1989). La band ha attraversato diverse fasi evolutive nel corso degli anni, mantenendo sempre un forte seguito di appassionati del genere.
