DJ Clue, de son vrai nom Ernesto Shaw, est un rappeur et DJ américain né à New York en 1970. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers de la musique hip hop underground dans les années 1990, il a contribué de manière significative à la diffusion du genre grâce à ses mixtapes et ses collaborations avec des artistes comme Jay-Z, Big Pun et Fat Joe. Son style musical est caractérisé par un mélange de hard rap, boom bap et samples funk. Parmi ses albums les plus notables figurent "The Professional" (1999) et "Back to the Grind" (2001). DJ Clue a également travaillé comme producteur discographique et a contribué à lancer la carrière de nombreux artistes émergents.
