The Maine est un groupe américain de rock alternatif formé à Tempe, en Arizona, en 2007. Composé de John O'Callaghan (chant), Jared Monaco (guitare), Pat Kirch (basse) et Garrett Nickelsen (batterie), le groupe a gagné en popularité grâce à son son énergique et mélodique, influencé par le post-hardcore et l'emo rock. Parmi ses albums les plus notables figurent "Black and White" (2010), "Pioneer" (2011) et "Forever Yours, Always Mine" (2014). The Maine est connu pour ses performances live intenses et captivantes, qui ont contribué à consolider sa base de fans dévouée. Parmi les titres les plus représentatifs du groupe, on peut citer "Am I Pretty?", "Into the Wild" et "My Hair".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
