Bomshel est un duo de musique country américain formé en 2004 par la chanteuse principale Buffy "Buf" Lawson et la violoniste Kristy Osmunson. Signé chez Curb Records en 2004, la formation originale du groupe a eu quatre singles dans les classements Billboard Hot Country Songs et a enregistré un album inédit intitulé *Bomshel Stomp*. L'une de leurs chansons, « The Power of One », a été incluse dans la bande sonore du film *Evan Almighty*. Lawson s'est retirée en décembre 2007 et Kelley Shepard l'a remplacée. La nouvelle formation de Shepard et Osmunson a sorti quatre singles supplémentaires, dont « Fight Like a Girl » et « 19 and Crazy », qui ont tous deux atteint le Top 40 country. En octobre 2009, Bomshel a sorti son album de début, également intitulé *Fight Like a Girl*.
La chanteuse de renom Rihanna et le rappeur A$AP Rocky ont récemment fait la une des journaux du monde entier en dévoilant le nom de leur deuxième enfant.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
