Racer X è stata una band heavy metal statunitense formatasi a Los Angeles nel 1984 dal chitarrista Paul Gilbert. Considerati pionieri del shred metal, hanno raggiunto un notevole successo negli anni '80 con album come "Street Lethal" (1986) e "Second Heat" (1988). Il loro stile musicale era caratterizzato da riff veloci, virtuosismi chitarristici e melodie accattivanti. Oltre a Gilbert, la formazione originale includeva il bassista Bruce Bouillet, il batterista Jeff Martin e il cantante John Aldridge. Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo nel 1990, Paul Gilbert ha continuato la sua carriera come solista e con Mr. Big, mentre i membri di Racer X hanno collaborato in altri progetti musicali. Alcuni dei brani più rappresentativi di Racer X includono "Technical Difficulties", "Scarred" e "The Flamethrower".

Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
