Eternal Tears of Sorrow (comunemente abbreviato in EToS) è una band finlandese di melodic death metal formatasi a Pudasjärvi nella regione dell'Ostrobotnia settentrionale, in Finlandia. I testi romantici e le melodie per tastiera morbide mostrano un'influenza del gothic metal. Fondata nel 1998, la band ha pubblicato sette album in studio, combinando elementi di death metal con atmosfere melodiche e gotiche. Tra i brani più noti figurano "The Last Goodbye", "Tears of Sorrow" e "Lost in the Shadows". EToS è considerata una delle band chiave del movimento melodic death metal finlandese, influenzando numerose altre band nel genere.
