Paul Brandon Gilbert (nato il 15 dicembre 1960) è un chitarrista statunitense noto per la sua tecnica virtuosistica e l'approccio innovativo al genere hard rock. Gilbert ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra all'età di sette anni, influenzato da artisti come Jimi Hendrix e Eric Clapton. Dopo aver suonato in diverse band locali, si è fatto notare con Mr. Big, gruppo che ha raggiunto il successo internazionale negli anni '90 con album come "Lean Into It" (1991) e singoli come "To Be With You".
