Grits est un duo de hip-hop chrétien formé à Atlanta, Géorgie. Le groupe, composé de R.A. the Rugged Man et Lil' Fame, a gagné en notoriété dans les années 90 pour son style de rap agressif et ses thèmes spirituels. Leurs paroles abordent des sujets tels que la foi, la justice sociale et la lutte contre l'injustice. Grits est considéré comme l'un des pionniers du Christian Rap, un genre musical qui combine des éléments du hip-hop traditionnel avec des messages religieux. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
