Salvador Sobral, nato Salvador Thiam Vilar Braamcamp Sobral il 27 novembre 1989 a Lisbona, Portogallo, è un cantautore e musicista portoghese di fama internazionale. Dopo aver partecipato a diversi talent show in Portogallo, ha raggiunto la notorietà nel 2017 vincendo l'Eurovision Song Contest con il brano "Amar pelos dois". La sua vittoria ha segnato una svolta nella musica portoghese, portando un nuovo sound più introspettivo e melodico all'attenzione internazionale. Sobral è noto per le sue performance emozionali e la sua capacità di comporre testi poetici e profondi che esplorano temi come l'amore, la perdita e la ricerca di identità. Oltre al suo successo nell'Eurovision, ha pubblicato diversi album di grande successo in Portogallo e all'estero, collaborando con artisti internazionali come Mariza e José Cid.
