A1 est un groupe musical britannique/norvégien formé en 1998. Le groupe était composé de Mark Read, Paul Marazzi, Ben Adams et Christian Ingebrigtsen. Leur premier single, "Be the First to Believe", est entré dans le classement des singles du Royaume-Uni au numéro 6 début 1999. Ils ont connu un succès relatif dans les classements avec deux titres n°1 et huit hits dans le top 10. En 2001, ils ont remporté un BRIT Award pour "British Breakthrough Act". Le groupe a été formé par le manager musical Tim Byrne, qui a également formé Steps. Le parcours d'A1 s'est terminé lorsque le membre original Paul Marazzi a quitté le groupe en 2002 et que le groupe a ensuite décidé de se séparer. En août 2009, ils ont annoncé leur reformation, sans Marazzi, pour une série de concerts à Oslo en décembre 2009 au Christiania Theatre. Depuis leur retour, ils ont déjà sorti deux nouveaux singles, "Take You Home" et "Don't Wanna Lose You Again". Leur nouvel album est sorti en octobre 2010.
