Animal Collective est un groupe musical expérimental américain formé en 1998 à Baltimore, Maryland. Composé d'Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Deakin (Josh Dibb) et Geologist (Brian Weitz), le groupe est connu pour sa musique psychédélique, électronique et noise pop, caractérisée par des arrangements complexes, des voix aériennes et une atmosphère onirique. Animal Collective a publié dix albums studio, dont "Merriweather Post Pavilion" (2009), vainqueur du prix Mercury Prize, et "Painting With", considéré comme l'un des meilleurs albums des années 2010. Leurs chansons les plus représentatives incluent "My Girls", "Fireside", "Brother Sport" et "Peacebone".
