Otep est un groupe américain de metal alternatif originaire de Los Angeles, Californie. Fondé en 2000 par Otep Shama (chant), le groupe a gagné en popularité dans les années 2000 avec son son agressif et ses paroles souvent provocatrices qui abordent des thèmes comme la violence domestique, l'abus de pouvoir et les inégalités sociales. Parmi leurs chansons les plus connues figurent "The Devil in My Heart", "Blood Pigs" et "F**k You". Otep a sorti sept albums studio, dont le très acclamé "Sevas Tra" en 2004. Le groupe a été actif jusqu'en 2024, année de sa dissolution.
