E-40, de son vrai nom Earl Tyrone Stevens, est un rappeur américain né à Vallejo, en Californie, en 1973. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du son hip hop de la baie, E-40 a contribué de manière significative à la diffusion du genre avec son style unique caractérisé par un flow rapide et des rimes complexes.
