I Van Halen sono una leggendaria band hard rock americana formatasi a Pasadena, California, nel 1972. Il nucleo originario era composto da Eddie van Halen (chitarra), Alex van Halen (batteria) e David Lee Roth (voce). Il loro sound innovativo, caratterizzato dalle virtuosismi chitarristici di Eddie e dalla potente voce di Roth, li ha catapultati al successo internazionale negli anni '80.
