Archspire est un groupe canadien de death metal technique formé à Vancouver en 2007. Connus pour leur vitesse et leur complexité musicale, ils ont acquis une base de fans internationale grâce à la compétence technique des membres et à la combinaison d'éléments de thrash metal, de metal progressif et de djent. Leur son est caractérisé par des riffs complexes, une batterie frénétique et des voix gutturales. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Relentless Evolution", "The Lucid Collective" et "Drone of the Serpent". Leur album de début, "All Shall Align", date de 2011, suivi d'autres œuvres comme "Here Comes the Swarm" (2014) et "Absolute Descent" (2017). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
