Thrice est un groupe américain de post-hardcore formé à Irvine, en Californie, en 1998. Les membres fondateurs, Dustin Kensrue (chant), Teppei Terai (guitare), Eddie Breckenridge (basse) et Riley Breckenridge (batterie), se sont rencontrés au lycée et partageaient la passion du skateboard. Influencés par des groupes comme At the Drive-In, Thrice a maintenu une formation stable au fil des années, publiant sept albums studio : "The Illusion of Safety" (2001), "Ready to Die" (2003), "Vheissu" (2005), "The Alchemy Index Vols. I and II" (2007), "Beggars" (2009), "Major/Minor" (2011) et "To Be Everywhere at Once" (2016). Le groupe est connu pour sa musique complexe, qui combine des éléments de post-hardcore, de rock progressif et d'emo. Parmi les chansons les plus représentatives de Thrice, on peut citer "Image of the Invisible", "The Artist in the Ambulance", "Hurricane" et "Black Honey".
