The Doobie Brothers sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a San Jose, in California, nel 1969. Il loro sound, inizialmente definibile come rock con influenze blues e country, ha poi abbracciato elementi di soft rock e pop negli anni '70. Il nome del gruppo deriva da un termine slang per indicare la marijuana. La formazione originale comprendeva Tom Johnston (chitarra, voce), John Hartman (batteria) e altri musicisti che si sono aggiunti nel corso degli anni. Tra i membri più noti figurano anche Patrick Simmons (chitarra, voce), Michael McDonald (tastiere, voce) e Keith Knudsen (batteria). I Doobie Brothers hanno raggiunto il successo internazionale con album come "Toulouse Street" (1972), "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits" (1973) e "Takin' It to the Streets" (1976). I loro brani più famosi includono "Listen to the Music", "Black Water", "China Grove", "Long Train Runnin'", e "What a Fool Believes". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
