Jimi Hendrix (nato James Marshall Hendrix il 27 novembre 1942 a Seattle, Washington – morto il 18 settembre 1970 a Londra), è considerato uno dei più grandi chitarristi di tutti i tempi. Hendrix ha rivoluzionato il rock con la sua tecnica innovativa e il suo uso sperimentale dell'amplificazione elettrica. Nato in una famiglia modesta, Hendrix iniziò a suonare la chitarra all'età di 15 anni. Dopo aver servito nell'esercito statunitense, si trasferì a New York dove formò i The Jimi Hendrix Experience, un trio che lo portò al successo internazionale. Il loro album d'esordio, Are You Experienced? (1967), è considerato un classico del rock psichedelico. Hendrix fu noto per le sue performance energiche e innovative, spesso caratterizzate da effetti sonori sperimentali e improvvisazioni virtuosistiche. Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
