Graham Parker è un cantautore e musicista inglese nato a Londra nel 1950. Dopo un decennio di esibizioni con band locali, nel 1975 il fondatore di Stiff Records, Dave Robinson, lo ha riunito con i chitarristi Brinsley Schwarz e Martin Belmont, il tastierista Bob Andrews, il bassista Andrew Bodnar e il batterista Steve Goulding. Il risultato è stato Graham Parker and the Rumour, una band che ha raggiunto un notevole successo negli anni '70 e '80. Parker è noto per la sua scrittura incisiva e le sue performance energiche, influenzato da artisti come Elvis Costello e The Kinks. I suoi album più importanti includono "Stick to Me", "The Mona Lisa's Sister" e "Squeezing Out Sparks". Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Local Hero", "Discovering Japan" e "Passion Is No Guarantee".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
