Herman Dune est un duo français formé en 1999. À l'origine un trio, le groupe se compose aujourd'hui de David-Ivar Herman Dune (guitares et chant) et Neman Herman Dune (batterie et parfois chœurs). Neman, originaire de Suisse, a remplacé l'ancien batteur Ome au début de 2001. Le 13 décembre 2006, Andre Herman Dune a joué son dernier concert avec le groupe et a ensuite changé de nom pour Stanley Brinks. Avec le départ d'Andre, l'umlaut a été supprimé du nom. Le groupe est souvent accompagné par d'autres musiciens lors des concerts. Leur son se situe dans le folk rock, caractérisé par des mélodies accrocheuses et des paroles introspectives. Parmi leurs morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent «The Sun Is Shining», «I Don't Know What to Do» et «You Are My Love».
