Darin Zanyar, noto semplicemente come Darin, è un cantante svedese di origine curda nato a 1987. Ha raggiunto la fama partecipando alla prima edizione del talent show Idol in Svezia nel 2004, classificandosi secondo. Questo trampolino di lancio gli ha aperto le porte al successo internazionale. Il suo stile musicale è un mix di pop, R and B e dance, influenzato dalla sua cultura curda.
