Slash's Snakepit è stata una band hard rock formata dal chitarrista dei Guns N' Roses Slash nel 1993. La formazione iniziale comprendeva i compagni di band dei Guns N' Roses Matt Sorum (batteria) e Gilby Clarke (chitarra), insieme al bassista degli Alice in Chains Mike Inez e il chitarrista Eric Dover, precedentemente live con i Jellyfish, ai vocal. Il gruppo ha pubblicato il suo album d'esordio, *It's Five O'Clock Somewhere*, nel 1995. Per il loro primo tour, James LoMenzo e Brian Tichy, entrambi membri del progetto solista di Zakk Wylde, hanno sostituito Inez e Sorum che avevano altri impegni. Dopo mesi di tournée, il gruppo si è sciolto con Slash che è tornato ai Guns N' Roses. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: *World on Fire*, *Beggars and Hounds* e *Mean Bone*.
