Utopia était un groupe de rock progressif américain dirigé par Todd Rundgren, actif de 1973 à 1986. La formation originale comprenait Roger Powell (claviers), Kasim Sulton (basse) et John Wilcox (batterie). Le groupe a sorti sept albums studio, dont "Utopia" (1974), "Another Live" (1975) et "Ra" (1976), qui ont connu un succès commercial modeste. Rundgren, connu pour son talent polyvalent en tant que musicien, chanteur et producteur, a façonné le style musical d'Utopia avec sa combinaison de rock progressif, synth-pop et éléments expérimentaux. Le groupe a été apprécié pour ses performances live énergiques et ses arrangements complexes. Parmi les chansons les plus représentatives d'Utopia, on peut citer "The Ikon", "Set Me Free" et "Love Is The Answer".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
