Yonder Mountain String Band (abrégé YMSB) est un groupe bluegrass progressif américain originaire de Nederland, Colorado. Composé de Dave Johnston, Jeff Austin, Ben Kaufmann et Adam Aijala, le groupe a sorti quatre albums studio et plusieurs enregistrements live à ce jour. Considérés comme des pionniers du mouvement "newgrass", le groupe fusionne les éléments traditionnels du bluegrass avec des influences rock, jazz et folk, créant un son unique et énergique. Yonder Mountain String Band est connu pour ses concerts captivants et ses improvisations virtuoses, qui lui ont valu une base de fans dévouée dans le monde entier. Parmi ses chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Traffic Light", "The Ballad of the Green Beret" et "Left Behind".
